DANNY BERKO
Phd student in Biomedical Engineering.
Research Title: Development of a new Endotracheal acoustic device as a diagnostic and prognostic tool using deep learning algorithms
Danny Berko holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Ben Gurion University and M.Sc. in Electrical engineering at Tel-Aviv University. Currently he is a lecturer in Mechanical and Biomedical departments and a PhD student in Biomedical department.
In his research he develops novel acoustic device to sense signals of intubated patients in intensive care units.
Today the mechanical ventilation machine and monitors show a lot of information, most of the information is not examined or investigated.
Our device will sense the acoustic changes associated with medical deterioration.
Danny's goal is to analyze the information coming from the mechanical ventilation machine together with the acoustic device in order to develop a new algorithm to monitor and alarm untoward conditions.
